The Founding Miniature Highland Heifer(s)The journey of 5T Ranch didn’t begin with a single Miniature Highland heifer – it started with three incredible heifers: Annie, Snowball, and Bonnie! These three founding females laid the groundwork for what has become a growing herd of exceptional mini Highland cows. Each mini cow brings unique qualities to the table, be it striking coats, calm temperaments, or robust health.
Here at 5T Ranch, our females are not just livestock – they are cherished members of the family and are nurtured with total love and care. Our mixed cows, HighPark cows, and miniature Highland cows, with their standout features and genetics, are the heart of our operation, and we eagerly anticipate the generations of high-quality calves they will bring to life! |

The Prized Highland Cattle Bull of 5T RanchNo breeding program could be complete without strong, reliable bulls, and Cowboy is the shining star at 5T Ranch. Born on September 6, 2022, Cowboy is our first full-grown bull, and he holds a special place both in our hearts and in the program. As a silver midsized Highland (75%) x-belted Galloway (25%) bull, Cowboy brings a unique genetic blend to our herd. His heterozygous polled trait is a rare and valuable characteristic, which makes for a smoother breeding process for future generations.
Having already sired three outstanding calves: Panda, Sweet Pea, and Asher, Cowboy has already made a significant impact on our herd, with his temperament, strength, and genetic diversity setting the foundation for a promising future. |
