About Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Full Grown
Nigerian Dwarf goats are friendly herbivores that enjoy a diet of hay, grain and browse. These active, daytime-loving animals have a lifespan of 10 to 15 years and typically welcome 1 to 4 kids with each birth. Nigerian Dwarf goat colors range, though it’s common to see black, brown, red, and gold goats. Patterns tend to show solid colors, spotted coats, or combinations of patches and splashes.
These goats are also compact in size, measuring 17 to 23 inches in length. Does, for example, can stand around 17 to 19 inches tall; meanwhile, bucks stand slightly larger at 19 to 20 inches. Nigerian Dwarf goats, full grown, can weigh between 65 and 85 pounds. Nigerian Dwarf goats are companion animals for the most part; however, they also provide milk that is high in butterfat. Personality-wise, Nigerian Dwarf goats are easygoing, friendly, loveable animals, and full of personality! |
